Exclude/Include
What is Include/Exclude
You can remove certain data points from a visual by right-clicking on it and selecting "Exclude". If you select "Include" on the other hand, only this data point will remain, while the rest is removed.
How do I use Exclude?
To exclude a segment of data, simply select the data, right-click, and choose the "Exclude" option. This will remove the selected segment from the visual.
The example below shows the full doughnut chart with all sales by area on the left and on the right the doughnut shows sales "excluding" mountain bike sales.
How do I use Include?
To view a specific piece of data on a doughnut chart, simply right-click and select "Include" to display only that segment. If you want to include two segments of data, press ctrl c to select both segments, then right-click and choose "Include."
The example below shows the full doughnut chart with all sales by area on the left and on the right the doughnut shows only the "included" mountain bike sales.
